Drive Fluid Reservoir

I bought a 616 used. I was going to check the fluid levels in the transmissions and when I tried to turn the cap on the one on the left side, the whole reservoir turned. I don't have an owner's manual. Does the reservoir unscrew from the body of the transmission? It is completely empty, or at least appears to be when shining a light through so that I can see the level. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
Does anyone have a link to where a manual can be downloaded?

Thanks

Never mind. I figured it out. The reservoir has reverse threads where it goes into the pump. The cap has regular threads. Apparently the cap had been put on too hard or possibly cross threaded. I had to take the Valve Cover off and then after wrestling the reservoir for a while I finely figured out what was the matter. So, now I have a new reservoir assembly ordered. The shipping cost more than the parts. $20.00+ for a small plastic bowl! Ridiculous. But since I don't have a dealer any where close, what else is there to do?
