I belong to a sportsman club with this tractor, the belt needs to be replaced. All information I find on line say this is a very difficult job there is a plate under the pulley, some say to pull motor other all steering linkage Is there any other procedures to help with belt replacement? I'm capable of doing the work. Any help would greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Sounds like a big pain in the a$$.

I don't find it that difficult, but certainly not as easy as most of the zero turn mowers.

Remove the mower deck....and if you can lift the front and rear wheels, maybe 18-24" and support everything, it's a lot easier. Lot of parts need to be removed but once it's all out of the way you can snake the new belt back in.

it was about a 1 1/2 hour job at the dealer as I remember...

This is a poor design by Kubota. There is no reason that a 2 year old mower should have this problem.
