drive belt keeps breaking

I have owned my craftman 42 riding mower for just under 1 year and have had to have my drive belt replaced 3 times does anyone know what is wrong or have you had the same problem? This is not the first tractor I have owned and I use it like I used the two before counting the current one I think I have repalced the drive belts on the 3 different mowers 4 times since 1993 countint the 3 this year alone. Need help!! I have been intouch with sears corp but they have been reluctant to help yet saying it still is not a lemon even though it is 3 belts in lest then year and techs can not find the cause???????????

Is this a gear drive or a hydrostat. do you ride the brake pedal, what does the belt look like. Is it worn on the inside or the outside, or just pulled in two. If possible post a picture of the belt so we can see what it looks like.
