Dr mower

I have a Dr mower with a 8HP Brigs motor, it will start and run but when you pull the throtle down it doesn't idle down .. I need help to know what to do..Thanks for all help

Sounds like it's time to overhaul the carb. Probably the idle circuit is clogged.
