Does this machine has a 4 cycle engine or 2 cycle one?

I got a used Champion Vantage 20" 3.5hp ( AYP Model AT103ZA) rotary lawn mower few years ago. It worked fine. But recently it's getting harder to start. I want to do a tune-up for it such as changing oil, spark plug, air filter etc. But I couldn't find the manual and I don't know it is a 4 cycle engine or 2 cycle one? If anyone who knows this machine, would you please provide the following information?
  • 4 cycle / 2 cycle engine?
  • Engine oil type and capacity
  • Model of spark plug
Thanks a lot!

It's a single cylinder engine, Tecumseh 3.5 HP, Most likely it takes about 20 ounces of SAE 30 oil, however that is pure guessing so use the link below to locate the correct engine identification so we can get you the proper info.

Darn it I hoping for a 12 cylinder engine.

I was thinking it would be the same engine used in those P-51's

Thank you so much! Now I know it is a Tecumseh 3.5 HP engine. It's my fault to ask a wrong question about the cylinder (I have no idea on an engine). Actually I want to know it is a 4 cycle engine or 2 cycle one.
I checked the link you provided and I couldn't find the same model.

That link is supposed to help you find your model on the engine.
It is a 4 cycle engine. (No oil mixing)

Thank you!
For doing a tune up, do I need to clean up the carburetor as well?

I wouldn't touch the carb unless it runs crappy.

4 cycle.

Your tune up probably should include a new air filter, spark plug, oil change and removal of the fan housing to clean the cylinder cooling fins and investigate that oil leak. It looks like if this has ever been done, it was a long time ago.

And sharpen and balance the blade.

Thank you so much for your great suggestions. I definitely will give a try. To be honest, I almost know nothing about machine. It is my first time to do such kind of thing. Hopefully everything will go smoothly. ✌
