Instead of buying the headlight assembly for this Regent I decide to just make one. I wanted to retain the stock light placement since even though its a custom touch it won't look too different to the way it was originally. Note well, be careful of the wattage rating on the bulb cause it eats the battery if its too high.
Material List:
1 - Foil Baking Pan
2 - Wire
3 - Switch
4 - Electrical tape + Zip/cable ties
5 - Connectors and matching bulb
6 - Free time
The baking pan provides a cheap solution to creating the headlight housing. All I did was cut and mold the edges to fit the contours of the hood. Then simply zip tie to secure it to the frame. Cut a small X where I wanted the bulb to be and then put it in. I haven't quite figured out what to use as a lens yet but if and when I do, i'll come back and edit the post.
As for wiring....I ran it directly off the battery and with its own switch so I can control when its on or off.
