A few days ago I acquired what I believe to be a 1994 Dixon 3301. It was a freebie and has a good running 10 hp Briggs, and after fixing a broken steer handle I discovered that the reason it threw the drive belt was the bearings for the twin cone shaft were completely shot, and had wallered out the top bore on the center housing.
Ebay search indicates that I can get a housing and bearings for about $75, I haven't found anything else that appears to be in need of replacement. Don't have any specs on what the cone dimensions should be, they could be at the wear limit and I might not be able to tell until it's back together and runs out of engagement travel. Cones would be another $85 or so; I don't want to dump close to $200 and a bunch of time into a machine that's only worth that on a good day. Haven't been able to find any like it for sale, but similar listings are from $150 for a parts machine to $1200 for one that runs well.
I guess I'm wondering if anyone know the value trends on these older homeowner grade zero turns, cult followings, hipster trends, etc. I'm out of my element.

Since noone was able to offer an opinion, I went ahead and ordered the parts. Should be able to flip it without losing anything at worst. I'd keep it but it's a little too big for some areas I mow, otherwise I'd have had one already.
