Dixie chopper hydro pumps getting hot.

I changed the oil seal in my hydro pump put every thing back to gather started the purge process now the pump[s are getting hot. What did I miss?.

Did you try running the machine? May be air bound.

Look in the reservoir and see if there are air bubbles.

Is it possible it's idling longer than you usually let it? Could be the bypass is causing it to heat up.

I've had this before. Sometimes if you let it sit, it burps itself out.

I'd have to see the manual, but it's basic hydraulics.
