I have a 2010 Dixie Chopper Classic 2760. I have 98.1 hrs on the machine. I changed my oil, and greased my mower today. When removing my grease gun from the fitting on the spindle, in the center of my deck, the fitting pulled out, and part of the threads came with it.
Also, the 90 degree fitting on the right front wheel also pulled out at the elbow in the fitting.
I am not that concerned about the wheel, but the spindle has me concerned! Would this be a warranty claim, or just suck it up and figure out how to get it fixed? on I can get a spindle assembly online for about $70.00. Is this what I need, or is this able to be replaced some other way?
Also, when buying the new fluids and filter, I obtained a new spark plug from my dealer, supposedly already gapped. It is a NKG V-Power and the end of the number is 11. My spark plug currently in my mower is a NKG, but is the standard R and appears to be a shorter plug. The first numbers are similar, but it does not have -11 on it... Does anyone have a compability chart as to which spark plugs can be used in the Generac 27hp engine?
Any guidance woould be appreciated!
