Discharge

I have a White 185 hydro. When I engage the blades the amp meter shows discharge. After I cut grass for a while and disengage the blades I can't engage them because the battery is dead. What can cause this? Just bought another new battery.

I'd say your charging system is not working. Your going to have troubleshoot the charging system to find the problem. Post your engine model numbers and I'll see if I can find a troubleshooting procedure for you if you are electrically inclined.
