I have an F930 John Deere. Bought it about 2months ago with 1000 hours for $800 and know nothing about this thing. Felt like I did ok, it could use a little TLC. I mow about 5 acres with it and have used it 4 or 5 times and it has done great until today. I started it today and it ran for about 5 seconds coughed and died. Now it won't start. Seems not to be getting fuel. I looked at inline filter and it's empty. Pulled outlet line off pump cranked engine, nothing came out. Pump seems bad to me. I removed the two screws for the pump and now I realize it's got a vacuum line off the backside to the crank. How do I get that line. It looks like I'm gonna have to remove the engine to get access to that line but I figure that cant be right. Anyone got experience with this? TIA.
