deck belt issue on Z254

Have a Z254 Husqvarna mower that just shredded the deck belt. I installed a new deck belt and pulley on blade spindle a couple of weeks ago and now it has shredded the belt after three mowing's. All pulleys are free from damage and all spin smooth along with all three blade spindles. The only thing I can see is it looks as if the belt has rubbed against the parking brake rod and the hydro gear pawl that engages when in park position. Can any one give any ideas on what to look for that might cause this issue. Everything on deck seems to be working correctly and idlers seem to have the right amount of tension.
