I am having trouble figuring out this old engine and the specs so I can replace it.

Briggs and Stratton

Model 252707
Type 0617 01
Code 87031410

Is there a site to look up the horse power, shaft size, mounting bolt pattern and so on?

crankshaft is 3 5/32 long, 1 inch diameter, tapped 7/16 x 20 bolt. If I remember correctly the 25 ci engine is 10 HP. Didn't find any mounting bolt specs, but those are fairly standard between engines, even within brands of engines, at least for rider engines.
