I have a Craftsman T3200 (917-203911). I'm reading up on lots of problems with the RS800 transmission. Mine is already doing the thing where it 'sticks' in either forward or reverse and won't go back to neutral. It looks like this is fix
But this will be a PITA because Craftsman put the gas tank under the seat, not the battery - so there's no easy way to get access to the top of the transmission.
In googling around for info on the transmission, I see that General Transmissions now makes a RS800 Debris Kit. Anyone attached that to a T3200 or similar? Does it help, or does it just get the debris stuck in a way that you can't get it out without pulling off the whole transmission?
