Cub cadet 1720 s/n 189986. I was mowing when the hyrdo belt idler froze and kicked the belt off. Now the mower is dead just like a safety switch is open. The only switch close to the belt is the brake and I see no damage. I have searched wiring from to back and can't find any damage. Any ideas? Thanks Jerry

Check fuse & circuit breaker pages 10 & 11 in full manual posted above.

Remove your battery and take to auto parts store & have them load test battery, this will let you know if battery is good or bad, should be no charge for test.

Thanks Mark. Forgot to mention that I changed fuse just in case, never did find a circuit breaker on wiring diagram page 15. Today tried to jump from battery direct to starter and got nothing.
