A stick got caught in the mower belt and ruined a plastic drive pulley. I replace the bad pulley but the belt is loose. I didn't see anything wrong so I bought another belt but after pulling out the original, they are the same size. Deere's manual only had info on the mower deck, not the drive assy. Any ideas?

Yes, I did verify the rear rod was pushed in.

Figured it out.... when the pulley broke, the belt jumped to the wrong side of the pulley, which is how I first saw it.

The same thing happened to me on my Husqvarna ZTR.
