D100 will not start

Good morning,

I'm new to this forum, so bare with me if I dont explain everythng properly. I was mowing beside our lane yesterday and slid into a rut, I go stuck and tried to reverese out of it. In the mean time, I forgot to shut the blades off. So, I shut the blades off, turned machine off and pulled my self off the rut. Now the mower will not start. I have power, but it will not turnover. It feels like there is a safety feature engaged not allowing me to start. This same thing happened about a month ago when I got bogged down in some tall grass. Dropped it off at JD dealer and they said that they could not not get it to start. They said it started everytime for them. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
BSFarmer

I'd jumper out the safeties one at a time till it started.

Thank you for the reply. I actually found the issue to be with the blade safey switch. If I reach in and press it, it starts. Now i just need to adjust the lever so that it hits the switch while disengaged.

Good find. Didn't know wich one but knew it was most likely a safety. Takes for posting up the fix.
