Have a cv14s Kohler with a spec of 1445. Trying to look for some parts and trying on line to find this model and spec. But always come up with the cv14 without the "s" with the 1445 spec number. What does the "s" mean or does it make any difference in the parts? Thanks

I read something today in reference to this. S is added by John Deere. I do not remember what it means to John Deere but it means nothing to the engine.

I may be wrong and trust me if I am someone will chime in.

If I remember correctly the S means electric start, and doesn't mean anything because parts should be looks up by spec number.
