Curb picked a mtd pro mower thing is heavy.

from what i hear is they made them to big and strong for only being a push mower, like $600 for just a push. i need help. it has a 5.5 kawasaki engine on it, theres a tube that is 3 inches long hooks into the the carb and points at the ground?

is the tube rubber or brass?,could it maybe go to a primer bulb?

I think there is the crankcase breather tube thingy but that goes into the air cleaner housing. I think
