Hi - New to the forum. We have a couple of grass and weed cutting devises, including a 6' tractor mounted unit and a walk behind string trimmer. The latter is not much good for grass as the wind created by the string and head tends to flatten the grass rather that cut it. It is good for weeds though. Our primary lawn mower is just a 20 year old walk behind Honda. Due to problems with the self propulsion mechanism we will probably replace it this year with a similar unit. So I look forward to a discussion on the pros and cons of what is currently on the market.
