I have a Cub Cadet 1554 with a Kohler 27 hp V-twin, starts and runs fine for 10 to 15 minutes and then shuts down and will not restart.

Have to figure out why it will not start. Is it fire or fuel. Get a can of Gumout carb cleaner and give it a shot in the throat of the carb and see if it starts.

Next time it shuts down, check for spark. If no spark then I would put my $$$$ on a bad coil. Either a hot open or hot short when engine warms up. Remedy, replace coil.
