I rebuilt my Cub Cadet's left side transmission recently, and after installing it back on the machine, the left side transmission turns in the opposite direction expected. Pressing the forward pedal results in the wheel turning in the reverse direction and pressing the reverse pedal results in the wheel turning in the forward direction. I'm hoping that someone can tell me if this could be caused by one of the internal parts, or if it has to be a linkage problem. The transaxle is a Hydro-Gear ZC-DMBB-BA2B-43PX. I would appreciate any information that is provided.
Nope. Just pilot error. I didn't realize that the steering wheel was turned all the way to the left. Straightened it out and it works like it should. Thanks for the reply.

Ahhh that kinda makes sense. And I should have it was an EZT transaxle. I got to learn to look-up these models since I now have dealer access to the IPLs and SBs. I was thinking of one of the other HG transaxles design.
