I recently installed a new battery in my Cub Cadet Z-Force-S 48. After a single day of cutting with 2-3 starts (for breaks), the mower will not start. The voltage meter on the mower indicates that the voltage is just above 11 volts.

Is there a equivalent of a alternator in these mowers? I've looked at parts lists and don't see anything. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated!

Yes there is. Post the engine model numbers and I'll try to find you an electrical troubleshooting procedure. Sounds to me light you have either a bad stator or voltage regulator.

Thanks for the quick reply! I was able to find the Alternator on the schematic but I'm guessing by your reply that it's integrated with another part:

Mower Model:17AI5BHB056
Engine Model: FR651V
