i have a 6 year old 46" lawn tractor with a stuck parking brake. i stopped the mower, turned the engine off, and engaged the parking brake as i was on an incline. when i got back on the mower i could not release the brake by pushing down on it with my left foot. i also tried pulling up on the small black lever below the steering wheel to no avail. what should I try first? the mower starts fine and the blades engage normally.
