My Cub Cadet SLTX 1054 has had a stick strike, and dropped a spring about 25 mm wide and 125 mm long (total length).
It's come from an area well above the deck, where there is belt drive associated with the transmission. It implements some form of safety interlock.
The mower won't proceed. Nor will it release the transmission into neutral. So I can't move it to gutter, drop the deck and get a good look up into the problem area.
I'd really appreciate any pointers to diagrams or instructions on how to return the spring to it's correct location.
