I had this mower of friend with the kawasaki engine on it, the recoil spring had broken. I checked every where for a replacement and all I could find was $41 - $42 for the complete housing, not wanting to pay that much, I decided to try and come up with a fix. I cut an old weed eater recoil spring to the length of the seven coils the old one had and that seems to be working good for now. Just thought I would pass this on.
