Hello all,
Say, I have a Cub that won't move . . . much. This mower was cared for better than any I've seen. Waxed and super clean for 8ish years old. Well, it just stopped moving. Lurches forward a bit but that's it and no reverse. So, here is what I've done.
1st Original Transaxle: Bypass in and checked all the way in. Brake gap checked - perfect, Changed oil to 20-50 syn - purged. New belt. Trans
spins great!!! Nothing but an occasional lurch forward. Linkages move on tranny properly. Hydro Gear 618-04270b
2nd Transaxle off other mower installed: Everything same, new oil - purged, belt tight, pulley spinning great - not splines slipping, and again, no
movement.
I'm assuming it has to be in the linkages but am I missing something. I've worked on hundreds of mowers and am stumped.
Thanks for suggestions
Scott
