Hi all, I have a Cub Cadet 1450 hydrostatic mower, the deck will not raise. There is a handle on the right side of the steering pedastal that connects to a hydraulic unit on the steering column, the handle passes thru a connector link to the hydraulic unit and it appears to have a stripped pin. Is there an easy way to check this connection with out removing the whole pedastal?
I got some extra time and my back cooperated long enough to pull the steering wheel and the pedastal from the chassis. With that out of the way the pin was sheered for the hydraulic control lever. Tomorrow I'll clean it all up and see if I can get it buttoned back up and running. Pain in the rump wrenching with 9 fused vertebrae, a bit slower but it'll get done.

When topping off the fluid, use Hy-Tran Plus.
Cheaper at a Case/IH dealer than a Cub Cadet dealer.
