i have a cub cadet dzt50 zero turn, and i removed the kawasocki 20 hp motor and i put a 20 hp briggs motor on it.now the batt.want stay chaged.could someone help me with this.i wired the mower and i used the volt reg. off the kal. and put it on the briggs.
The voltage regulators on the Kawasaki and the Briggs are different and not compatible. Briggs uses several different amperage output alternaters. I would go with a Briggs regulator that matches the Briggs engine/alternator.
