Okay I could really use some help here. My Cub Cadet 3206 has been acting up bad the past few weeks and today it really got bad. Over the past few weeks every so often while mowing the PTO would disengage on it's on followed by the engine stalling or almost stalling. Well today it did it again only this time it will not restart. Kind of!! See it will start right up but after about 10 to 20 seconds it stalls out. As a retired Navy Mech. I'm pretty handy and of course checked all the basic things but this thing has me stumped.
Things I've checked and appear to be good.
- New Fuel
- Fuel cap
- Fuel flow ( before and after the pump )
- Air filter-
- oil levels
- Kill Switch ( under the seat )
- Fuel lines
- Spark plugs / good spark
Again it will start but after a few seconds it stalls off. I can see the gas going into the carb on start up but then it appears to stop? I pulled the line off the pump ( valve cover) and turned the motor over and got plenty of gas coming out and all over! So I really don't think it's the pump. I would almost say it's electrical but have no clue what to check other than the seat switch.
