Hello Everyone, I have a Cub Cadet 2135 with a Kohler CH-13 now when i try to start it it cranks but it wont start. I have spark, and have fuel to the carb. Its not backfiring at all either.
If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be great. I installed a new battery, fuel filter and new spark plug.

Talk about the last time it ran fine....And anything else that may have happened....

Also find the spec numbers off of the engine...

The spec # are 22531

True, I have saved a bunch from him!!!!

Well without any other backround, then you need to start from square 1.

Remove the plug, put your thumb over the plug hole and crank, see if you can keep your thumb over the hole.

Was the old plug wet with fuel, did any fuel spray when you cranked? If so, you are probably just flooded. But your fuel may be old/nasty and not even burn, so backround is always helpful.

Did you ever have this engine running? If so, did it run good?

ok here is what i know. I got the mower not running, the guy i bought it from said it just stoped while he was cutting his grass. when i got it i started with the normal stuff. did a tune up to it new plug filter and fuel filter. pulled carb and cleaned it and still nothing. pulled fule line off outlet side of fuel pump has plenty of flow. so i removed fuel line on the inlet side of carb good flow. checked to see if fuel seoniod had power has 12.4v.
so i pulled ignition wire off plug to make sure it had spark and it does. got a new battery cause the old one wasn't that strong. changed the oil cause the old oil didn't look to good. now when i try to start it it cranks fine but doesnt even sound like it wants to fire now when i choke it it sounds like its trying to fire but it just ends up doing nothing but backfiring every once and a while from all the fuel i am dumping in there.i backfires out of the carb sometimes and out the exhaust.
