I have the belts on and the rider goes forward and backward. Now with the new belts the rider will not stop using the brake pedal. I searched the forums and found out how to adjust the brakes. There was no adjustment left so I figure I'll replace the pads or the whole assembly after I found the two pins in the puck seem to be frozen in the puck housing. Right now the the puck is soaking in PB Blaster as I got one mounting bolt loose, but the other one (Hardest to get at of course) will not budge and it is a steel bolt in an aluminum housing. I have searched the Cub Cadet parts lookup and cannot find any reference to the brake assembly, just some springs. I think I'll try the MTD parts lookup. I'll use a heat gun on the stuck bolt rather than a torch and then let it cool. Does anyone here know where I could get a brake assembly?
