Cub Cadet 1517 with Kohler 17hp Will not turn motor over with key??? Any suggestions?

Hello new to the forum but i have a Cub Cadet 1517 that has a kohler 17hp and when you turn the key nothing happens. Battery Good PTO not engaged and bypassed seat safety switch... Anybody got a clue. I thought about the ground and may be my next thing to check? But any suggestions would be great. Thanks and May God Bless

Is it an OHV model? Check the valve lash if it is.
