Cub Cadet 1050 13RQ11CP056 No Start solenoid clicks but only 5v at starter?

Battery is good new solenoid clicks to engage but only getting 3 to 6 volt at the starter?:confused2:

The new solenoid, does it have 1 or 2 small wiring posts?

If it has 2 you might have got a solenoid that has two differnt starting volteges. Some of the farm tractors took that type to start the engine with a hotter 12v to the points then switches back to 5 or 6 volts when running.

Check the volts on the big leads at the solenoid.

I got her going! When i took the hot wire of the starter it went back to 12v, bad start and replaced.
