Craigslist 7268 Find $40.00

Just looking on Craigslist one afternoon and came across an ad for an old Lawn Boy. Took a ride and brought it home. No start so I cleaned the carb and replaced the crank seals. Scared the meow out of me when it fired up! Gave it a bath and cut our 1/2 acre last weekend. Very nice.
Just ordered decals and paint. So cool. Love the sound and smell of these machines.

I've got a 7268 and consider it one of the best models they ever made. It's got the F-series engine but without all the extraneous stuff they started adding around the mid-1980s.

looks good, i just scored a 3002 buttercup off c-list for $50., it looks very solid and complete, not sure if i'll restore it or leave it alone, i'll get pics up before to long:wink:

I agree. I don't like self propelled and this will make a nice mower for a great price.
