My lawnmower wires burnt and corroded together and it wouldn’t start. We fixed the wires and now it starts it just won’t start. Believe it’s not getting spark. Is it possible The safety wires allow motor to turn and just not spark or is it likely something else?

Mower model # and Engine model # are needed.
Kill wire to coil burned and grounding?
Pull plug, re-insert in boot, ground metal on engine, turn key - spark?

Also could be the possibility that the hot wire corroded and shorted to the kill wire which fried the ignition module.

That # comes up as a Mastercraft, made by MTD. Don't even see an IPL available. Would need to figure what Yard Machines model is the same.
Still need the engine model #. If Briggs, something like 28A707-0122-02. Will be on a shroud covering cylinder fins.
