I have a 2009 Craftsman YTS4500 with a Kohler Twin - Model SV735-007, Serial #394027193. This engine has the DSAI coils and one has gone bad. Is it possible to buy the coils included in the upgrade kit separately? I believe the part number of the replacement coils is 32 58403-S. The upgrade conversion kit is very very expensive. The kit part number is 32 707 01-S and is $140+. I appreciate any help you can give.

Engine model number correction SV735-0017. Both posted model and serial numbers are incomplete.

Those 32 584 03-S have been upgraded (supersede to 32 584 23-S currently) so when one them fails you must replace both coils if one them fails.

So it better just to get the kit and be done with it.

Thank you for all of the information. I have ordered the 32 70701-S conversion kit per your recommendation.
