I have a craftsman t100 only a year old. The other day i was cutting grass and I stopped to take a break and pick up some sticks. When I started the mower back up it will not go in forward or reverse. This happened before but after wiggling the shifter around it went. But this time it will not. I am not that mechanically inclined and I have no way of transporting it to a repair shop. I cannot tell what is wrong. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.
Try starting the engine, and with the direction selector in N move the speed selector to 6 or 7 and let the clutch out. then push the clutch back down, move the speed selector to a slower speed, and then put it in F or R and see if it will move.
