Craftsman Rear Rider vs Simplicity Rear Rider

Hi all, so I know the simplicity is better, but I have a .4 acre lawn and just need something to cut grass more quickly and give me an option to bag. I won't be banging up the unit either.

The craftsman is $899 new and the Simplicity is $1799 new. Big difference in price... should I be worried about the craftsman lasting ten years or so with regular maintenance and good care? does the low price negate any worry?

Thoughts... advice?

Thanks

Compare engines, trans axles, ease of maintaining such as replacing belts, removing and dressing up blades, and warranty. You might want to take a look at Snapper also since you're doing a comparison. Snapper & Simplicity are manufactured in same factory McDonough,GA., south of Atlanta.
