With just those brand name it's hard to tell need more details engine brand ,engine size , mower size, details of each? Thing like that?:wink:

Husqvarna-- 23 hp briggs intek 48 " deck 3 blades
Craftsman---24 hp briggs platinum 46 " deck 2 blades, tight turn steering.
Both mowers have hydro tranny with pedal drive

Theoretically, would the increased tip speed of the two blades over the three blades throw the grass out from under the deck better?

Tip speed will depend on what size pulley is on the deck.

Don't matter much between Craftsman or Husky in a few years you won't be able to get parts for either of them.

You know, I don't understand all the bashing of Craftsman and Briggs on this site. I am using a 42 inch Craftsman with a 21 hp Briggs twin that is nine years old and each time I mow it is five to six hours and I have had no trouble other than normal wear and tear. That seems pretty good to me.
