I put some gas in the tank. Think the gas was bad. It turns over when I turn the key, but will not fire or run. I had
cut most of the grass in the front yard. It ran for about 25 yards & was cutting. It just quit on me.
(1) bought gas at the pure station ( not gasohol)
(2) drained the tank and cleaned it.
(3) disconnected the fuel lines ; blew them out and installed a new fuel filter
(4) installed a new spark plug
(5) installed a new air filter
(6) filled the tank with new gas.
My lawn tractor is a 42" with a 22hp Kohler engine. It still turns over but won't crank or run.
A friend told me to drain the bowl on the carb. I could not remove the bowl so I left it alone.
