Craftsman LT2000 will not start

I have a Craftsman Lt2000 18 hp mower. I was cutting grass turned it off to move something and now will not start back. Cleaned carb,fuel solenoid works, getting fuel and spark. It makes a back firing sound out of the carb but will not start. It was running great when this happened.

First check oil level on dipstick, if it's past full mark smell for gas on dipstick. If this is the case it's carburetor rebuild kit time or new carburetor. If oil level is ok on dipstick check in line fuse for being blown. Check fuel tank cap vent for being open, air filter & spark for replacement. Post complete model number from under seat as well as all numbers from engine, model xxxxxx, type xxxx, trim xx, & code number.
