Goodmorning sirs. I have a question, a friend of mine has a craftsman lt-2000 riding mower with a 18hp. kohler motor in it. They ran it with very little oil in it an it has no compression now. My question is that I have a john deere mower with a 13hp. kohler motor in it, will these engines interchange? I am going by there this morning to check an see if the flywheel keyway hasn't been stripped, thought about that last nite. My kohler motor has a fuelpump an the craftsman is gravity feed straight to carb., will I have to block fuel pump or just bypass it? Thanks for any info!!!
