Craftsman LT 1000 6-speed transaxle seems stuck

I cannot turn the 9" pulley on top of transaxle in any gear or nuetral. It appears to be stuck. Could this be a clutch issue or do I have a mess inside transaxle?
 
Sounds like the bearings on the input shaft are siezed up. will require disassembly of the tranny to fix.
 
Took transaxle off machine and opened up. Found one smaller gear snapped in half. Found a good video on youtube about taking transaxle apart. Thanks for input.
