Did thorough clean up on carb with a cleaner. Tiny hole in bowl bolt (whats it called?) was clogged. Nice and clean now. No residual gunk anywhere to break free and clog anything. Put bowl back on with shallow end on float hinge side. Keeping needle fairly unscrewed but have tried various adjustments. Starts after good bulb priming but dies soon. Runs a bit longer with more bulb pressing. Why wont carburetor continue to mix gas and air and send to cylinder after initial priming is used up? Everything is clean.
Provide us with the engine numbers, so we can see what you are talking about.

There are probably 3 holes in that nut one on each side and one in top or middle. Is the needle valve moving freely ( when you remove the bowl does the gas run out on your hand). If not dirt in tank, lines or needle valve is stuck or dirty.
