I disabled the seat safety switch while troubleshooting for the loss of ignition spark. The motor starts up ok now. Will the safety switch still cause the motor to die when the clutch is diengaged or the mower deck is started? I thought the motor would not start with the seat safety switch not working.

yes it will cause the engine to die if the clutch is released or the mower is turned on
hey guys I'm new to this board but old...old One thing I learned early in life when everything is running almost good
and then suddenly things go bad ...think back to what you did to change the running ok part ?
