My mower has 2 issues, one led to the main reason I am sending this message. The drive belt on this mower seems to be so tight that when I let off the brake sometimes the mower will leap with the front tires coming off the ground. This action led to me running into a tree while cutting around it. Since then, my steering has been out of alignment. I have replaced the drag links on both sides, the right one being damaged due to the impact. I inspected the steering plate and gears and they seem to be in good shape. When i replaced the drag links the right tire was sitting at about a 30 degree angle to the right while the left was in alignment. I have tried to run the mower but the front wheels seem to be on swivels and are almost impossible to keep a straight line. I'm looking for advice before I buy a replacement. Help!

Picture of the side out of alignment.
If you could get the Model number off the mower we can help with the leaping issue.
