I got a mower that starts and runs fine. when you take brake off it will die,engage the mower deck it will die, push forward or reverse petal it will also die???

Most likely cause would be the seat switch, or the associated wiring. May be the clutch switch but that is not as frequent. Check for corrosion on the switch terminals also.

I was sitting on the seat when it was running but I will check the switch. thanks problem solved..
