My mower was working fine. Turned it off, 5 minutes later it started ok. It will not go forward or reverse. Belt ok, clutch/brake linkage ok. gear shift linkage ok. I can push it forward and backward. Any help will be appreciated.

Yes it is, mower deck is running fine.
The belt to the gearbox appeared to be ok. After I dropped and removed the mower deck the belt could be seen around the pulleys on both ends. The belt was not around the idler pully. Problem solved, it is now working. Thanks for your help.
