Craftsman Blower B2200 has no compression

Was running but lost compression any ideas before I start a tear down?

Easiest thing to probably do would be to remove the cover over the muffler and then remove the muffler to look into the exhaust port and check the cylinder walls and the side of the piston.

I figured I was going to have to do that I was just hoping someone would say dump some oil in the head and see if that helps
